The President of the Republic Giorgio Napolitano visited Porto Mirabello on the occasion of the celebration for the 150 years of the Navy.

The President, accompanied by the Secretary of State for Defence MP Ignazio La Russa and by the Tops of the Navy, brought its greetings between the rounds of applause and the tricolor flags to the City and to the Harbour and has been welcomed by the Managing Director Alessandro Menozzi.

Subsequently, the President Napolitano embarked on the presidential yacht “Argo”, moored at the dock of the Harbour, to review the military units in the Gulf.
